Wire brushes

Wire brushes are used for pre- and post-processing welds, removing rust, scale, paint, or slag. They are used in preparing metal surfaces before painting, in car body construction, shipbuilding, and steel construction – for rough cleaning work on large, smooth surfaces as well as on critical areas such as beams and welded structures. WEFRA premium wire brushes are made with stainless steel wire (acid and corrosion resistant) and are used, among other things, in the food industry.

Braided cup brush with smooth steel wire 0.5 or 0.8 mm, cylindrical shape, heavy-duty design for safe operation at high peripheral speeds, very good material removal rate with optimal service life, with support ring - stabilizes the brush and can be removed after the exposed wire bristles are worn - for an additional approx. 20 mm of usable length! Proven professional quality.

For heavy brushing work, e.g. removing rust, scale, slag or concrete residues, preparing metal surfaces before painting.

Tip for stainless steel brushes...

Brushes made of stainless steel wire (acid and corrosion resistant) are used for processing stainless steel (e.g. in the food industry).

Our brushes are primarily manufactured with stainless steel wire in alloys 1.4301 and 1.4310, in both crimped and smooth forms. All types shown on these pages can also be fitted with stainless steel wire.
