Flap grinding pins and flap grinding rolls

Flap or lamellar grinding pins are grinding tools consisting of many small, fan-shaped abrasive flaps mounted around an axis. These flaps are usually made of fleece or linen and coated with abrasive grit. They are used for cleaning, derusting, pre-grinding, texturing, and roughening surfaces, particularly in metalworking.

Flap or lamellar grinding rollers ensure uniform and homogeneous material removal. They are used for deburring or fine grinding of steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other non-metallic components. The focus is on a conformable grinding finish, achieved through the fabric flap arrangement. Unlike abrasive belts, these flap wheels yield and adapt to workpiece contours. Grinding pin made of corundum linen lamellae arranged radially around the core. Through the gradual removal of the backing material, abrasive corundum is repeatedly exposed, resulting in precise material removal right to the end.
